Common Questions

Members are randomly shuffled first, then distributed evenly. If dividing by number of teams, members are distributed round-robin style. If some teams must have more members than others, the extra members are distributed one per team.

Use "Members per Team" method for more control. However, if your total members don't divide evenly, the last team may have fewer members.

When the organizer checkbox is enabled, one member is randomly selected from each team after teams are generated. Each team gets exactly one organizer.

Yes! Just click "Generate Teams" again. The randomization will create a completely new distribution each time.

You can export to CSV (for Excel/Google Sheets), TXT (plain text), copy to clipboard (for pasting anywhere), or print directly to PDF/paper.

There's no hard limit, but for practical purposes, the tool works best with groups of 5-100 members.

The tool will create as many teams as you have members, with one person per team. For example, if you enter 5 members but request 10 teams, you'll get 5 teams.

The tool shows results but doesn't allow direct editing. If you need different teams, simply click "Generate Teams" again for a new random distribution, or manually adjust the exported file.
